I trust everyone had an awesome 4th of July weekend and did not eat too many hamburgers and hotdogs. As for me, I won’t say how many I had, on the grounds it could incriminate me.
I try to switch off every other week with a recipe then a review, but in the past couple of weeks one of the restaurants I visited was so good that I just had to review it right away.
Brody’s on Cass, at the corner of Cass Lake Rd and Cass Elizabeth, is a “must go to” for breakfast and lunch. This is my second trip to Brody’s. The first time was for lunch when I ordered a chicken pita that was full of chicken and goodies that I couldn’t finish, and believe you me I tried!
My second trip (a couple of weeks ago) was for breakfast, which was absolutely amazing. We went in with a group of 4 of us. We were greeted by an awesome waitress that was eager to take our order. One of my friends ordered an omelette that was stuffed full of vegetables and was piping hot. My girlfriend ordered eggs benedict that she said was tasty. Diana, one of our friends, ordered biscuits and gravy that was very good. I ordered a breakfast special, eggs, bacon, toast and hashbrowns with the hashbrowns cooked just the way I like them…crispy.
Anytime I am on the southwest side of Waterford this will definitely be my go to for breakfast and lunch, and I highly recommend that you do the same!
